Every semester an advisor hold is placed on the account of every NJIT student. This is normal. For SAET students, to have the advising hold removed, you must fill out a Course Approval Form for the upcoming semester. Even if you meet with an academic advisor, you must still fill out the form to have the hold removed. Do no wait till registration begins to do this. Plan ahead and schedule time to meet with your advisor early.

Click here to access the Course Approval Form. Holds will not be removed immediately; it will take time for an advisor to review your submission; complete this form early. If you submit the form at least 1 week before registration begins, your hold will be removed prior to the beginning of registration. The form is typically available about 2 weeks prior to the beginning of registration.
